The image is displayed on the entire factory monitor and the audio is fed in via the audio-AUX input of your factory multimedia system. Before ordering, check whether your factory multimedia system also has an audio-AUX input or whether it can be retrofitted.
Our smartphone interface is compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto, making it a smarter and safer way to use your smartphone in the car. Everything is operated via the vehicle's own buttons and operating systems. Of course you can also use Siri and OK Google voice control via the included microphone. If your vehicle has a factory-fitted Bluetooth hands-free system, you can use it via our smartphone integration and use it to make calls. IMPORTANT PRODUCT NOTICE
The MEDIA IN socket on the housing is not an HDMI input for playback from external HDMI sources. This socket is required for some vehicle types for additional modules.
INSTALLATION NOTE
This product is used in vehicles with 12V battery. Please do not install in vehicles with a different voltage. Never extend the HSD signal lines. This product is made of high-precision parts, so it should not be subjected to strong impact. Never open the housing. To protect driving safety and avoid traffic violations, never operate the product while driving. The optional reversing cameras are only visible when manoeuvring. In addition, always be aware of your surroundings and never rely solely on the camera. All installation steps should only be performed by a trained professional. The ignition must be switched off during installation and the product only after the wiring is complete.
